Welcome to IvyEdgeSOP. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our study-abroad and international admissions guidance platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services Description

IvyEdgeSOP provides study-abroad and admissions strategy, coaching, feedback, and educational resources for Bachelor's, MS, MBA, and PhD applicants. Applicants remain the authors of their SOPs, and recommenders must be the sole authors of their LORs. Our Services include:

• Profile evaluation, university and course selection guidance, and application planning
• Strategy, coaching, outlining, feedback, and editing of Statements of Purpose (SOPs) written by applicants, only to the extent permitted by the relevant institution
• LOR strategy and recommender support; we do not draft, write, translate, or submit Letters of Recommendation (LORs)
• Resume guidance and feedback
• SOP Review Studio with A.C.C.E.P.T. Framework™ evaluation and improvement suggestions
• Educational blog content on SOP, LOR, and resume writing
• Template libraries as learning and planning resources, not ready-to-submit SOPs or LORs

Authorship and Use of Support

• Our support consists of strategy, coaching, outlining, feedback, and any editing permitted by the relevant institution; it does not include writing on your behalf or providing complete SOP or LOR drafts. Revisions included in your selected plan apply to the support and feedback provided.
• You remain the author of your SOP and are responsible for reviewing and approving its final text before submission.
• Your recommender must be the sole author of any LOR. Our LOR support does not include drafting, writing, translating, or submitting the letter.
• Editing must preserve the applicant's authorship, ideas, and truthful personal experiences. We do not invent qualifications, achievements, or experiences. If an institution prohibits outside editing, we do not provide editing for that application.
• Always verify that all factual details in your application materials are accurate and truthful. Check and follow each institution's rules on authorship, outside assistance, editing, and AI use, and disclose assistance where required. Use only support the institution permits.

Educational Guidance Disclaimer

• No Admission Guarantee: We do not guarantee admission to any university or program. Success depends on multiple factors beyond SOP quality.
• Expert Guidance: Our advisors bring domain expertise, but the final admission decision rests with the university. No SOP or LOR can guarantee an offer.
• Applicant and Recommender Authorship: You must author your SOP, and your recommender must be the sole author of any LOR. Our support does not replace either author.
• Permitted Assistance: Check each institution's rules before using coaching, feedback, or editing support, and use only assistance those rules allow, including any restrictions on AI use.
• No Plagiarism or AI-Detector Guarantee: We do not guarantee any plagiarism score, AI-detector score, "human-written" classification, or that application materials will pass plagiarism or AI-detection checks. Screening tools can produce inaccurate or inconsistent results. Each institution determines whether an application meets its requirements.
• Scope of Advice: Our Services provide study-abroad and admissions guidance. They are not a substitute for legal, regulated immigration, or financial advice; consult an appropriately qualified professional where such advice is needed.
• Originality Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your final document is original, authentic to your personal experiences, and compliant with the target institution's requirements.
